Why Backup Plan

Hi Friends, This is Lakshman here.

It's good to see you all. Welcome back to "Stable & Scale".

As a developer, on this road path, we will learn a lot.

Today we are going to discuss "Why Backup Plan".

Irrespective of application working or not. We should have a backup plan.

You may know why because we don't know when your application will break.

If we have the plan, we can execute it. If not, we will be in trouble.

Some backup plans are,

  • Before Deployment of the latest application, try to create a backup of previous Deployment files.
  • Try writing the code via Test-Driven Development.
  • Have multiple deployment options in place.

As we all are developer, it's okay if we mistake. Mistakes can be corrected but not habits.

So we need to think beyond actual to succeed.
