Know Your Environment

Hi Friends,

It's good to see you all. Welcome back to "Stable & Scale".

As a developer, on this road path, we will learn a lot.

If you want to grow in your IT Career, We should consider certain things.

One such thing is Know Your Environment,

Every office has its ways of culture & System/Process.

First, we need to know the style of works & culture they persuade, then analyse/diagnose it, once done act on it.

On the Ways to the diagnosis of Environment, we need to consider a lot of things.

One Such thing is How they improve their stand.

You may ask why & what I meant to be ?.

We are working in an office where everyone like to improve and move to the next level.

We can categorise those as three groups,

  1. Improve as a team.
  2. Move our team to the next level.
  3. As individuals.

The most intruding ones are Individuals, but I currently preserve First Category.

We need to take all the precautions before we act on it.

To Know the Environment, we need to follow the below Principles,

  1. Know IT.
  2. Analysis IT.
  3. Act-On IT.

Good Listener

There are places where you need to be a good listener, especially in any Meeting as below, Team Meeting. With stakeholders. Director & CTO's, etc., You may ask why its need? To be a good developer, you need listing skills to learn. Let me tell something that my mentor said, When you are in the meeting, you need to listen to everyone and wait for at least 3-half of the meeting time then, start the talk.
